GBOYEGA NASIR ISIAKA (GNI)
Gboyega Nasir Isiaka is a formidable and frontline politician in Nigeria. He is also a governorship aspirant to reckon with in Ogun State concerning 2019 gubernatorial election. He has commenced massive campaign to actualize his 2019 gubernatorial ambition. He is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that he emerge victorious.
The astute politician was born in February 1962 into the family of late Prince Tijani Adebowale Isiaka and Alhaja Adijat Agbeke Isiaka of Remo Quarters, Imeko in Imeko Afon Local government area of Ogun state. His father was a respected transporter, philanthropist, community leader and politician in the then Egbado district and his mother is a trader. Growing up in Imeko was not much of a challenge for him as a little boy he learnt very early in life that, to become great you must endure whatever situation you find yourself, and coming from a very strict, religious and disciplined home he had no choice but to conform to the best standards possible. This to a large extent molded him into the person he is today.
Schooling and Early days
His quest for academic excellence began from the Ansar-Ud-Deen Primary School, Imeko between 1968 and 1973 after which he proceeded to Nazareth High School, Imeko between 1973 and 1978.
Prior to his tertiary education, he worked as a Clerical Officer at Yewa (then Egbado) North Local Government; and later Office of the Presidential Liaison Officer, Abeokuta. His first point of call for higher education was the Ogun State Polytechnic (now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic), Abeokuta where he was admitted to study Mass Communication in 1981. While there for a few months, his innate drive made him to realize that he was not getting a feeling of full satisfaction with the career path he was towing and consequently, he quit the school to pursue a different career path. He was subsequently offered admission into the University of Ife (now OAU) to study Accounting in 1982. He committed himself vigorously to his academics, and after four rigorous years, he graduated in 1986 with a First Class category in Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting (B.Sc Accounting).
While in “Great Ife”, his penchant to add value to others committed him to other engaging activities as he was the Director of Organisation, Yewa (then Egbado) Students Association in 1983/1984 and became the President in 1984/1985. A major highlight of his activities in the association was giving career talk and organising what was then called the “Brain Trust Competition” among Secondary Schools in Yewa land. After his graduation from the University, he proceeded for the one year compulsory NYSC programme in Jos, Plateau state. He served with Joseph Akande & Co, a firm of Chartered Accountants.
In furtherance to his academic attainment, he proceeded to pursue his professional certifications and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) in 1988. He also completed a Masters programme in Business Administration (MBA) from University of Lagos in 1995 and attended the Senior Management Programme (SMP) of the Lagos Business School in 1998. After a decade of post-Associate membership, He was bestowed with the Fellowship of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) in 2003.
In addition to being a Chartered Accountant, he is an Associate of Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (ACS) having completed the Institute’s three stage examinations in 2001, and an Associate member (ACIT) of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). In furtherance of his bid to attain professional and leadership excellence, he has taken and undergone several courses in different parts of the world including Investment Banking & Corporate Finance Course by Euromoney, United Kingdom, Leadership in the 21st Century from the prestigious John F. Kennedy Centre, Harvard University, United States of America and Institute of Public Private Partnership , Washington DC courses on Development, Structuring and Execution of Public Private Partnership transactions to mention but a few.
Private Sector Experience
His exposure to corporate experience commenced when he was retained after the completion of the NYSC scheme by Joseph Akande & Co. Chartered Accountants. He was involved in statutory audit especially of public sector institutions as well as management consultancy services. These he did for two years before quitting the organisation to pick up his first major career employment with Lion Bank in 1989.
At Lion Bank, he functioned in the Internal Control and Audit department and he was also able to deploy his professional knowledge and experience to assist in strengthening the internal control in various spheres of the bank. He left Lion Bank plc in 1990 with a track record of performance and moved further the professional ladder.
His foray into Investment Banking commenced with his employment with ICON LTD (Merchant Bankers) in 1990, where he served with the Capital Issues and Investment division after a rigorous three months training by the bank. He spent six years with the bank with major focus on financial advisory and issuing house functions.
In February 1996, he joined Lead Merchant Bank Plc where he was involved in various wholesale banking activities that included Project Financing, Financial Advisory, Privatization Advisory, Equity and Debt raising activities. He was also involved in Asset Management and Stockbroking under the Lead Investment Limited brand of Lead Bank.
During his seven years sojourn with Lead bank, he rose from the position of Assistant Manager to that of Assistant General Manager and Group Head of Investment Banking overseeing Investment Banking services. He was at the forefront of various corporate finance transactions that include equity raising for First Bank Plc, Union Bank Plc, Afribank Plc (now Mainstreet bank), Lion Bank Plc, Nigerian-German Chemical Plc, International Breweries Plc, and Wema bank Plc among others. He worked alongside the Credit Suise First Boston (CSFB) team to win the bid for the privatisation of the then NEPA by the BPE and he was the team leader for the financial/lead advisory services for both the privatization of Nigerdock Plc and Benue Cement Plc by the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE).
It is interesting and instructive to note that during this period when he led these initiatives, the then Lead Bank won the best Issuing House award in Nigeria for three consecutive years; between 2001 and 2003. He left Lead Bank Plc and indeed the corporate sector in October 2003 with high sense of fulfillment, having made up his mind to go and join the Ogun State government.
Public Service
His exposure to public service commenced in 2003 after taking up an appointment as a Special Assistant on Investments to the Governor of Ogun State. In April 2004, he was appointed the pioneer Group Managing Director of Gateway Holdings Limited (GHL), the investment company of the state. Pioneering any new initiative is never an easy task but he was undaunted and he painstakingly set the structures for the then new pseudo-private organization. He put together a team of dedicated professionals with relevant skills and led them to achieve the company’s global mandate amongst which were; Project Development and Structuring, Investment Management and Trade Finance. The team was able to spearhead and/or assisted in the development of various projects in the state. These include but not limited to, the first Industrial Park, Grand Manufacturers Cement Company, Urea Plant, Ogun Guangdong Free Trade Zone and Gateway Savings & Loans Limited.
Investments and committed investments from these sources were substantial. The Company under his headship was also involved in the project development and structuring of the then proposed Gateway International Airport and Olokola deep seaport projects in partnership with the Ondo state government.
Also, assets and investments that were either drain pipes to the state or being grossly underutilized or out rightly bankrupt especially State Owned Companies were restructured under his headship of Gateway Holdings Ltd. The principal objective was immediate stoppage of the drain on the State’s lean resources and ultimately contributes to the revenue generation capacity of the State. Furthermore, Gateway Holdings Ltd consolidated the shareholding of the State and ensured an optimal and effective management of the state’s quoted stocks which hitherto were not only scattered in various ministries and parastatals of government but were not been effectively managed. From near zero revenue on gross reliance on subventions from the state government in previous years, the company generated revenue to the State Government coffers that was close to ‪#‎1billion‬ during his tenure. In addition to the stock investments, the company held or supervised investment by the State in various other businesses.
Gateway Holdings under his leadership also funded and managed the state’s empowerment programme in transportation notably, the State metro scheme project under which over 650 motorcycles, 600 taxis and 150 buses were given out to indigenes of the state under a short/medium term lease arrangement. The company also financed the leasing of tractors to farmers during the period.
The company also carried out other activities that have various positive impacts on the socio-economic development of the state; including the financial structuring advisory of 42MWpower station which the present government currently uses to power all government agencies, residences of government functionaries and other close locations. Another of such was the establishment of Abeokuta trading floor of the Nigeria Stock Exchange and the establishment of Ogun Shandong Business Council which was aimed at enhancing business relationship and joint venture between private business men in Ogun State and Shandong province in China.
Overall, the positive effect of the activities of Gateway Holdings under his leadership are legion and these to a large extent contributed to the enhancement of the economic base of Ogun State, generated employment and empowerment for the people, utilized the natural resources and other competitive advantages of the state and more importantly recorded respectable returns on the investments and generated revenue to the state government; all to the benefit of the people of Ogun State.
During his stewardship in public service, he also served in different capacities such as Chairman, Ogun Guangdong Free Trade Zone working implementation committee; member, Ogun finance committee; member Economic Summit planning committee and member, Ogun Economic Advisory Council (EAC) among others.

In the course of his private and public life, several awards and honours have come his way. Current Engagement
In April 2011, he contested an election for the office of the Governor of Ogun State and lost to the incumbent. He has since moved from that worthwhile experience to set up the Edgefield Group providing professional and non-banking financial services.
Amongst the companies within the group are Edgefield Development & Investment Partners Ltd (a PPP advisory firm with emphasis on Infrastructure Development Advisory) which he runs as the Chief Executive Officer; Edgefield Capital Management Ltd (a Stock broking/Corporate Advisory Company) where he serves as the Chairman; and GNI & Associates (a Professional Services firm) which he provides with supports on consultancy basis.
Sociable Family Man
Inspite of these engagements, he is a happy family man, a loving husband and dutiful father. He is happily married to Mrs. Oluwatoyin Isiaka and they are blessed with lovely children that are nurtured in the finest moral and academic standards. BAYO ADELABU PENKELEMESI

Early life and education Adelabu was born to Aderibigbe Adelabu of Oke-Oluokun compound, Kudeti Area in Ibadan. His grandfather is Adegoke Adelabu.
Adelabu attended Ibadan Municipal Government Primary School, Agodi Ibadan from 1976 to 1982 and Lagelu Grammar School, Ibadan from 1982 to 1987.
Adelabu received a First Class Degree in Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. SEYI MAKINDE
Engineer Seyi Makinde is the Oyo State governorship candidate under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He is a leading governorship aspirant in the state.
Seyi Makinde was born on 25 December 1967. Makinde was born to a renowned teacher turned accountant; late Pa Olatubosun Makinde and Madam Abigail Makinde of Aigbofa Compound in Oja’ba, Ibadan. He is the third child of the family.
Seyi Makinde is a Nigerian businessman, politician, and philanthropist from Ibadan, Oyo State. He is an Engineer and a subject matter expert on fluid and Gas Metering. He is the Group Managing Director of Makon Group Limited; an indigenous oil and gas company in Nigeria. Also, he established his first oil and gas private business called Makon Engineering and Technical Services, (METS) at the age of 29 in the year 1997. After earning years of work experience with international oil and gas companies.
Otunba Seyi Abiodun Makinde was born and grew up in Ibadan and is a successful businessman. The son of a chartered accountant, late Pa Olatunbosun Makinde. Seyi had the spirit of service instilled in him at an early age involving himself in sports and church. While in primary and secondary school, Seyi was selected to attend most of the school academic external events. No doubt, this experience opened Seyi’s eyes to public service.
Early Life
Otunba Seyi had begun thinking about entering politics in the early age of his youth partly based upon Late Chief Obafemi Awolowo’s ideology and legacy “Free Education” to give back to the community. He is “moderate” with “progressive” views as a Democrat and has the people’s welfare at heart. Seyi had managed to work his way out of poverty through hard work and his commitment to the plight of ordinary citizens of Oyo State is undisputed.
Education
Makinde began his education at St Paul Primary School and completed his primary education at St Michael Primary School, Yemetu, Ibadan. His secondary education was at Bishop Phillips Academy, Monatan, Ibadan.
In 1985, Seyi gained admission to the University of Lagos (Unilag) where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. While still in school, he worked for Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited for one year before leaving school in 1990 to work full-time for the same company. In 1997, Seyi Makinde left Shell to set up his private business and ever since then, he has never looked back for sixteen years as Group Managing Director of Makon Engineering and Technical Services International.
In 1998, Oluwaseyi trained at Industrial Control Services in Houston, Texas on Safety Shutdown System; and Development of Analytical Competence for Managing Operations at Lagos Business School (now Pan-Atlantic University) in 1999. In 2000, he had training in automation. In 2002, he studied Fundamentals of Crude Sampling at Jiskoot Auto Control Training Centre, Kent, England. Also, in 2005, he studied Understanding and Solving Complex Business Problems at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA.
Professional and Business Career
Makinde did his national service (NYSC) with Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) of Nigeria, where he was later engaged as a pupil engineer. He served in different capacities; handling and partaking in several key projects between 1990 and 1992. From 1992 to 1997, he worked as a Field Engineer (Eket operations) for Rebold International Limited and in 1995, he was appointed as Field Manager in the same company.
In 1997, Makinde established his first business, Makon Engineering and Technical Services Limited (METS), after working for five years (1992-1997) with various international oil and gas companies (IOCs), as the Engineering Manager. He is now the Group Managing Director of Makon Group of Companies.
Makinde is a member of national and international professional bodies notably: Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Council for Regulations of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), Oil and Gas Design Engineers of Nigeria (OGDEN), International Society of Automation (ISA), Institute of Measurement and Control UK; and American Measurement Institute (AMI).
Political Career
In 2007, Makinde contested for the Oyo South Senatorial seat under the platform of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP). Though he lost to the People’s Democratic Party candidate- Kamoru Adedibu. Moreover, Makinde remained undeterred by his first failed attempt and in 2010; under the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, he aspired for the Oyo South 2011 Senatorial seat but lost the primary to the incumbent Oyo South Senator.
In 2014, Makinde aimed for the Oyo State 2015 governorship ticket under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). In December 2014, upon the conclusion of the party’s primary election, he was denied the governorship nomination ticket. Makinde however, remained true to his ambition and defected to the Social Democratic Party (SDP). Under which platform he contested for the Oyo State 2015 SDP gubernatorial candidate, but lost out in the end.
In September 2017, the Caretaker National Chairman of PDP, Senator Ahmed Makarfi visited him in Ibadan. Following extensive, deep and wide consultations with National Leaders, Oyo State leaders and elders of the Social Democratic Party, and cross sections of strategic partners within Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde returned to his former political party, People’s Democratic Party (PDP). He maintained that joining the PDP was not for personal gains. He, however, stated that it is for the development of the State by finding lasting solutions to the array of problems facing the State.

Moreover, he was worried by the infrastructural decay and perpetual darkness in a small town called Ajia Community in Ibadan. Therefore, he donated a 65 megawatts turbine rural electric power plant to serve the people of the community. Thus putting an end to the era of darkness in the community.
Without a doubt, he has also created over 2,000 jobs for Oyo State indigenes alone through his Youth Empowerment programmes initiated 8 years ago. Seyi Makinde also remains committed to helping Oyo State’s private sector create 250,000 jobs by 2017.
Seyi Makinde is married to Tamunominini, and they have three children.

Emmanuel Lyambee Jime was born on the day 20th of June, 1962 to the family of Pa Jime Tsav of Anter in Mbalagh Council Ward of Makurdi Local Government Area, Benue State. His father was a police officer who served his nation with honor and pride. As it were, Emmanuel Jime grew up in the barracks – a completely secular society or mini-Nigeria where he found himself interacting freely with people of diverse tongues, cultures and religious beliefs. Instructively, the people as diverse as they were in their backgrounds were united first as Nigerians by common aspirations and hopes of a great nation. Young Jime would be even more so influenced as he watched the ease with which his own parents related with other people in exemplar love, peace and harmony. These, no doubt, greatly helped in forming his opinion about life. It is evident that he began to realize (at such an early age) the overwhelming strength in unity. To date, this phenomenon greatly impacts on his public life. That is why he is a bridge builder across all divides within Benue and Nigeria at large.
Another thing that greatly influenced his early life and worldview was that he grew up during the formative years of Nigeria as an independent nation, at a time when African nationalism was becoming more popular. This gave him the opportunity to witness the emergence of independent African nations through the spirited doggedness of renowned activists such as Chief Luthuli, Oliver Tambo and Nelson Mandela of South Africa who looked apartheid in the face and mobilized their nation towards its freedom. Elsewhere, the likes of Kwame Nkrumah, former President of Ghana envisaged and fought for African unity; Martin Luther King and others who changed the course of history through self-sacrifice in order to achieve the desired liberation for all. These developments began to unleash the advocate in young Emmanuel Jime as he discovered that determination coupled with sincerity of purpose and faith were powerful tools that could defeat the worst or even strongest enemy. That is why, today, the man Jime will spare no righteous way in getting justice. This is obviously a very rare and outstanding character trait to be found in public life, especially in our Nigeria of today.
EDUCATION
He began his quest for knowledge at St. Williams Primary School, Keffi from 1968-74 where his young and curious mind was activated to prepare for the world ahead.
He then proceeded to Community Secondary School, Makurdi (1974-79) where he got his WASC and was ready to launch into the deep. At this point the young and grateful Emmanuel Jime also learnt the importance of community and communal service. He understood what a people can achieve by simply coming together and rallying around one another through every circumstance.
By the way, as a beneficiary of community efforts towards providing education, he remains truly grateful. As a result, has continued to make his modest and humble contributions towards uplifting Community Secondary School, Makurdi and several others across the State. To him, this is a necessary way of giving back to the society that gave him a fair chance to take a shot at life; a community of men and women that rose above their ethnic affiliations and other considerations and united around a common goal of pooling resources together to provide education for children in order to give them a decent future. This is something Emmanuel Jime has done with all sense of responsibility and humility even as he hesitates to count it as an achievement. It is clear that he is willing and eager to even do more if given the opportunity.
His journey of quest for knowledge took him to the famous Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he studied law from 1980-83 obtaining an LLB at graduation. After graduation he moved on to the Nigerian Law School, Lagos from 1983-84; he obtained a BL and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1984. His choice of Law as a course was influenced by a number of factors including:
The effect of the emergence of African Nationalism on his early childhood.
With a father that worked as a police officer, Rt. Hon. Jime began to appreciate the place of law in human society.
As a student in high school, he always represented his school in debating competitions and won most of those debates.
His appreciation of how lawyers can uphold the dignity of man.
The civil rights activities of the African-American people, particularly Martin Luther King (Jnr) and teaching of Black Consciousness as part of the ABU, Zaria curriculum when he was a student there merely added impetus to his decision of being a lawyer.
WORK AND CAREER
Upon successful completion of his mandatory national youth service in Port Harcourt, he began a career at LUWA Chambers, Makurdi which was owned by the late Barr. Gbihi Vembe, a renowned legal giant. Again his choice of where to work was not based on sectional considerations but rather on the need for quality and a sound experience; it was simply the desire for a place that could help him grow into a sound lawyer. Everyone who was around at the time will agree that LUWA Chambers offered one of the best option8s. It never took long for the head of the chambers to discover the content and quality of Hon. Jime. Consequently, Barr. Vembe encouraged him to start his own chambers, a challenge he accepted gladly. This development gave birth to LOBI Chambers where Hon. Jime was a principal partner. At the same time, he served as Legal Counsel to Makurdi Local Government for six months prior to his launch into the world of partisan politics.
HIS FAMILY LIFE
Emmanuel Jime is married to Comfort Jime nee Oklobia and the marriage is blessed with three kids : Emmanuella; Emmanuel and Cynthia.
He fondly calls his wife CJ – the woman with whom he has built a partnership of love and exemplar parenting of the kids the lord has blessed the union with.
In spite of the exacting demands of office and politics which chores mean he is sometimes not home before the kids’ bedtime, he often calls as bedtime beckons, to speak with the family and exchange nighttime farewells. This seemingly small act, undone, distances kids from the love of a father.
As a dad, Emmanuel Jime sometimes shared in the chore of picking up his kids from school – primary school. As they drive home, the House of Reps member would play host as Emmanuel and Cynthia cheerfully take turns to tell the story of what they learnt in school that day. All three looked forward to this special moment.
The family is a devote Christian family firmly of the catholic faith and strongly attached to the moral principles that guide same.
POLITICAL CAREER
It is said that the gold fish has no hiding place. Same is true of Hon. Jime. While he was settling down to nurse the vision of growing his chambers into one of the most prestigious legal institutions in the country, his people back home had already identified him as a worthy son and ambassador who could represent them. So it was that when in 1992 the defunct Social Democratic Party (SDP) was formed, he was called to run for a seat in the Benue State House of Assembly (BNHA) on the ticket of the SDP which he did and won. On getting into the House to commence the business of executing the mandate of his people, his colleagues also identified the leader in him. This led to his election as the Speaker, BNHA at the age of 30 years making him one of the youngest in the country at the time.
ACHIEVEMENTS IN BENUE STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY
His tenure in the State House of Assembly was cut short by the military abortion of the democratic process by late General Sani Abacha. However, Hon. Jime’s short stint at the House was not without impact. As a man who has always been grateful about how much society has given him, and is also eager to give back in whatever way he can, he stood by the then Governor Rev. Fr. Moses Adasu (of blessed memory) to ensure the birth of Benue State University. As at the time, it would become the first state-owned university in the whole of northern Nigeria. This university has contributed in no small measure in increasing the literacy level of our people and Nigerians at large. Today teeming populations of Benue youth have been given a chance to higher education through these efforts.
When the military took over, Hon. Jime returned to his legal practice and moved to Abuja where he continued his legal practice in a fresh and new firm known as AMINCI Chambers in Garki area of Abuja. He was beginning to settle down when once again his people came calling as Nigeria began another democratic experience. He ran on the ticket of the People’s Democratic Party for the Makurdi/Guma Federal Constituency in 2007 and got overwhelming victory. After his first term in the National Assembly, he was returned again in 2011 for the 7th National Assembly whose tenure will expire on 29th May, 2015. Since then he has been executing the mandate of his people with pride and honor.
It is worthy of note that throughout his political career, Hon. Jime has honored his people by keeping a good name by trying very hard to be seen living above board. This is a core value of a true leader.

UCHECHUKWU SAMPSON OGAH
Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah is the Abia State governorship candidate on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC). It was gathered that he is enjoying tremendous support to actualize his dream.
Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah was born on December 22nd, 1969 to Chief Wilson, a sanitary inspector and retired railway staff, and his wife, Ezinne Pauline Ogah. Ogah hails from Onuaku Uturu, Isuikwuato local government area of Abia State, Nigeria. He is a business mogul, politician, philanthropist and the President of Masters Energy and Oil Limited.
Early Life
Uche had his secondary education at Ishiagu High School in Abia State. He thereafter worked for three years from 1986 to 1989 at the West African Examination Council. Thereafter, he proceeded to the Institute of Management and Technology in Enugu, where in 1992, he obtained an Upper Credit at Ordinary National Diploma. Three years later, he graduated with Distinction at Higher National Diploma (HND) Level in Accounting from the same institution.
Ogah furthered his studies in 2005 when he earned a postgraduate degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN). He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance from the Ogun State University. In 2006, he obtained a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
Career
Uche Ogah spent 10 years in the banking sector. He started with his National Youth Service at NAL Bank PLC. Thereafter, he took up full employment at All States Trust Bank and spent about two years in the bank before joining Zenith Bank in 1997 where he rose to the position of Assistant General Manager (AGM) before resigning in 2007.
Uche is the President, Masters Energy Group, a well-diversified Group which has business tentacles spread across Oil & Gas, Banking, Construction, Security, Insurance, Gas, Aviation, Energy, Shipping, Commodity, Fabrication, among others. He has steered the affairs of his business empire from its humble beginning in 2005 to its present Olympian height. The business grown into a conglomerate with investments worth tens of billions of Naira.
In December 2011, the Executive Governor of Abia State, Chief Theodore A. Orji, laid the foundation stone of Masters Energy Industrial City in Isikwuato Local Government for various projects. This multi-billion naira integrated industrial complex on completion is expected to grow the economy of Abia State because of the high number of businesspersons it would attract from across the African continent.
Uche has set-up different arms of his company in Abia State. They include: Fertilizer Plant, Plastic Plant, Lubricant Plants producing five product lines; Engine Oil, Grease, Hydraulic, Transmission Oil, and Gear Oil, Noodles Plant, Steel Plant, which produces pipe for offshore drilling and mechanized palm oil production plants. He has offices in Port Harcourt, Abuja, and Enugu, and in foreign lands such as Benin Republic and Ghana.
The humanitarian and philanthropic disposition of Uche was taken to a higher level when he established a foundation in December 2011, the Uche Ogah Foundation which is primarily for empowerment, poverty alleviation and providing education and has empowered many in their various fields. He also instituted a chair at the Abia State University and is building a 5,000 capacity auditorium in the university.
In 2015, Uche contested the governorship seat of Abia State under the People’s Democratic Party. He lost at the primaries to eventual winner, Okezie Ikpeazu. The primaries which was marred by allegations caused Uche to go to court. He accused Ikpeazu of forging his tax returns. Although he won at the Appeal Court, he eventually lost at the Supreme Court.
Personal Life
Ogah is married to Mrs. Ngozi Ogah and they are blessed with children. They have homes in Rivers, Abia, and Lagos states.

Razak Atunwa is PDP governorship candidate in Kwara State. 49 year old Razak Atunwa is a member of the Nigerian House of Representatives representing Asa/Ilorin West Federal Constituency.
Hon. Atunwa is the Chairman, House Committee on Justice and currently also heading the House Committee investigating corruption in the award of Oil Prospecting License (OPL) 245.
Born on the 17th of October, 1969 in Ilorin, Kwara state, He attended Immaculate Heart Secondary School, where he obtained Ordinary Level Certificate in 1986.
Hon. Atunwa studied law at the University Of East London, graduating in 1992 with LL.b (hons). He further obtained his Masters Degree (LLM) in International Law from the University of London in 1993. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales in October 1994 by the Inner Temple Inns of Court.
After 11 successful years as a Barrister at law in London where he specialized in criminal and international law, Hon Atunwa returned to Nigeria in 2005. 36 year old Atunwa was appointed as the commissioner for Land and Housing in Kwara state in August 2005, Commissioner for Information and Home Affairs ( 2006 – 2007), Commissioner for Works and Transport (2007 – 2009) and Commissioner for Finance ( 2009 – 2010). Hon Atunwa has Immense Governance experience in Kwara state after working in 4 different ministries in his thirties.
In 2011, he was elected into the Kwara state house of assembly to represent Owode/Onire Constituency of Kwara State on the (PDP) platform and was later unanimously elected Speaker of the Assembly at the inauguration of the 7th legislature.
Hon Atunwa was elected as a Member of the Federal House of Representatives of the National Assembly to represent Asa/Ilorin West Federal Constituency in 2015.

During his time at the Ministry of Environment, Nasko worked with various local communities to clean up drainages and this prevented flooding.
As Chief of Staff, Nasko worked closely with the current Governor of Niger State, where he supports high-level executives in making decisions and tracking the completion of projects. During his secondary education at the Nigerian Millitary School, Zaria, Kaduna State, Umar Muhammed Nasko performed very well academically and this impressed his Teachers who saw a bright future in him with a tertiary education.
Immediately after his Secondary Education, he was enrolled for the 43rd Regular Combatant Course at the Nigeria Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna, he however opted out as fate had decided. After leaving the NDA, he gained admission into the University of Jos, Plateau State, and between 1991 and 1992 he had the University’s matriculation. But due to incessant strike actions, he left for the University of Abuja in 1993 where he undertook a course in Computer Basic Programming And Disk Operating System. At the end of his studies, he was awarded the University of Abuja’s Certificates in Computer Basic Programming and Disk Operating System. Immediately after this course, he gained another admission in 1993 into the Remedial School of the Federal University of Technology (FUT), Minna, Niger State. He also belongs to the following professional bodies – Fellow, Civilian Institute of Democratic Administration (FCIDA), Fellow, Certified Institute of Public Administration, 2008 (FCIPA). Member, harvard University Alumni Society. He was also a graduate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management. And above all, obtained a Honorary Doctorate Degree in Public Administration from the Atlantic International University, okija, Anambra State in 2007.
His involvement in Politics in the years 2001 to 2003 proved him to be an active Party Member of the United Nigeria People’s Party (UNPP) under which umbrella he was Chairmanship Aspirant. From 2003 to date Alhaji Umar Nasko has remained a committed member of the People’s democratic Patry (PDP).
On the professional side, Alhaji Umar Nasko belongs to the Nigerian Institute of Management.
Umar is an intelligent Administrator, a stickler for excellence and someone deeply committed to the promotion of professionalism in Civilian Administration. He is still holding the traditional title of Yariman Nasko, a recognition bestowed on him by his own people for his avowed commitment to excellent service to humanity.
As a concerned Nigerian who has the interest of his people at heart he has donated Seedlings – Flowers and Trees worth thousands of Naira to the General Hospital in Nasko town, renovation of one Mosque each in six Wards of Nasko LGA, provided 250 KVA Transformer and 500 KVA Transformer to Gwagwade and Nasko Communities respectively, in 2008. He donated Six Motor Cycles to Six Imams for the propagation of Islam in Nasko Area. As if that is not enough, he has impacted positively on the lives of the youths in all the Wards of Magama and Kontagora LGAs. to one youth in each of the eleven Wards. His developmental prowess even became more obvious when he was appointed by the Niger State Government as the Coordinator of the Ward Development Project in Magama Local Government Area which according to the peoples confession has transformed the lives of the rural dwellers like never before because of the renovation of roads, Schools, Market Stalls, Boreholes and other infrastructural facilities.
More contributions to the infrastructural development became more glaring when he initiated the “Green the Niger Initiative”. This program saw Niger State, especially Minna city wearing a new look in terms of serenity, cleanliness and evacuation of debris, dust bins and other environment-polluting agents thereby restoring high hygiene with far reaching implications on human health and longevity.
Also within the same period, ecological devastating factors such as erosion, have been brought under control through timely intervention of the Ministry of Environment under Umar Muhammed Nasko. Desilting of drainages around Minna is one of the good things that have ever happened to Minna because dangers of flooding have been averted.
Umar Muhammed Nasko is currently the Chief of Staff Government House, Minna , Niger State. His assumption into this office was as a result of his sterling, charismatic leadership style that brought about unprecedented transformation within the system.
As the Man at the helm of affairs of activities that concern the Chief Servant and Governor of Niger State and personnel of Government House, he has been responsible for supporting high-level executives in making decisions and completion of projects. These projects relate to staffing, contracts and meeting deadlines. In this regard, he has proved to be trustworthy, decisive and loyal over a period of time.
He has also been providing tremendous leadership with effective management of all staff and personnel members. This is because he possesses a strong team building skill which ensures that offices and departments are running efficiently.
He has fostered peace and unity among the Youths in Kontagora Emirate and that brings about economic and social development in the Emirate. This prompted his appointment as the Jarman Kontagora in Kontagora Emirate and Sarkin Kudun Birnin Magaji in Zamfara State.
