The Adele Oloko of Orile-Oko Kingdom, Remo North, Olakunle Olalekan has commended the Ogun state Governor, prince Dapo Abiodun for reopening worship centres in the state.
Olakunle maintained that the closure of churches and mosques for some months by governor Abiodun was part of his efforts to stop the spread of the disease.
He described Abiodun as the governor who cares about the healthy life of the people of Ogun state.
The monarch disclosed this in a statement personally signed by him which was made available to newsmen in Abeokuta
Olakunle said, ”The reopening of worship centres on Friday has shown that the governor has a listening ear and he believes in God. He closed down worship centres for some months as part if his efforts to stop spread of covid-19. There are protocols after the reopening, it is now the duty of we residents to obey all the guidelines for our own good”
He therefore appealed to the religious worshippers not to disobey the guidelines laid down by the state Governor, urging them to join hands with Abiodun to fight the pandemic.
