The General Manager of the Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Agency, LNSA, Prince (Dr) Ifalade Oyekan has congratulated Nigerians on the nation’s 61st Independence Anniversary celebration.
While speaking at the Independence Day parade held at the Agege Stadium in Lagos, Prince Oyekan said although Nigeria is faced with many challenges, the efforts of some selfless leaders like the current Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu portends great hope for the country.
Oyekan, who mobilized the LNSC Corps Officers to participate in the Independence Day march past to complement the efforts of other security operatives at the parade ground, commended men of the various Security Agencies for their efforts at ensuring law and order in spite of the daunting task of protecting lives and properties across the country.
He also seized the occasion to call on Lagosians to support the Law Enforcement Agencies in their quest to keep Lagos State stable and secured from both internal and external security threats.
In his words, “Lagos can only move at the pace we all desire if we put all hands on deck to ensure we have a safer Lagos as envisioned in the 6th pillar of the THEMES Agenda of Mr. Governor, which is ‘Security and Governance’ ”
